My apologies for the absence lately, but I shall be back for real real soon.  In the meantime, here are a few odds and ends:

  • Over at The Moderate Voice, Jason Steck writes on the possibility of a diplomatic window of opportunity with Iran.  Jason notes that this might in fact signal a diplomatic success for the Bush administration, albeit a fleeting one if they don’t approach it carefully;
  • Michael Yon continues his excellent work in Iraq, chronicling and photographing the battles in Baqubah; And
  • On a much lighter note, my friend Jesse has started a fantastic film blog, a must read for anyone interested in expanding their tastes beyond Michael Bay movies and Police Academy sequels (although I do love me a good Police Academy sequel).  Check out Jesse le Fou, the new kingpin of the Film Blogosphere…The Filmosphere.
